Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is located between Munising and Grand Marais in the eastern portion
of the Michigan UP. There are visitors centers at both ends of the 42 mile-long park. West Map East Map
Description
Pictured Rocks is a great place to hike and boat. Kayaking is a great way to see the cliffs and rock formations
along the shoreline. There are plenty of hiking trails with nice campsites. The trails are rocky. The Indian paintings
and the geology of the rock formations are the main attraction.
